About BizFlixTalk™

Every great story teaches a business lesson.

Watch it. Learn it. Apply it. Grow.

BizFlixTalk is business education that teaches strategy through cinematic storytelling. We uncover the leadership decisions, marketing strategies, communication lessons, ethical dilemmas, entrepreneurial breakthroughs, and business principles hidden inside the stories people already love.

Through a unique blend of entertainment, discussion, analysis, and practical application, we transform movies, television shows, documentaries, and iconic characters into powerful learning experiences.

Because sometimes the most valuable business lesson isn’t found in a textbook. It’s hidden in plain sight on the screen.

Our story

BizFlixTalk was created to make business education as engaging as your favorite movie. Some of the most powerful lessons in leadership, innovation, communication, and entrepreneurship are already being taught every day through entertainment—most people just aren’t looking for them.

Built from the room, not from the podium.

One of the most significant experiences in my career was building a company that served AT&T across thirteen states. My organization helped launch technology services that connected customers to the Internet, supported technology operations for 911 systems in California and Nevada, and operated technical support services. It was a period of tremendous growth and tremendous responsibility.

Along the way, I learned something that changed how I think about business forever.

Generating revenue and building a sustainable business are not the same thing.

I have experienced significant business success. I have also experienced what happens when growth outpaces the systems, leadership, planning, and operational capacity needed to sustain it. That lesson became one of the most valuable—and expensive—educations of my career.

Today, I teach because I do not want entrepreneurs to learn that lesson the hard way.

Over the years I noticed a pattern. People start businesses because they have a skill. Because they have a passion. Because they have a dream. Very few start a business because they understand how to build one.

Many business owners work incredibly hard. They solve problems every day. They make decisions constantly. Yet they rarely pause long enough to step back and honestly assess the health of the business they are building. They spend so much time working in the business that they rarely have time to work on it.

That realization became the foundation for The Business Expansion Blueprint™.

Why stories work

Stories are humanity’s oldest educational technology. Long before classrooms existed, stories taught people how to:

  • Lead
  • Communicate
  • Solve problems
  • Build communities
  • Make decisions
  • Navigate change

Stories create emotional engagement. Emotional engagement creates memory. Memory creates action. Action creates transformation.

That is the foundation of BizFlixTalk.

The BizFlixTalk movement

BizFlixTalk is more than a workshop. More than a discussion. More than a training program.

It is a movement that reimagines how business education is delivered.

By combining storytelling, discussion, analysis, strategy, and application, we create learning experiences that are:

  • More engaging
  • More memorable
  • More practical
  • More impactful
  • More transformational

Because when people enjoy learning, they participate. When they participate, they remember. When they remember, they apply. And when they apply, growth happens.
