These terms govern your use of bizflixtalk.com and your participation in BizFlixTalk programs, panels, workshops and events. BizFlixTalk is a program of Improve Your Business Game. By using this site or registering for a program, you agree to these terms.

Our programs

BizFlixTalk provides business education and training. This includes the Business Expansion Blueprint, monthly panels, workshops, community experiences and related materials. Programs may be delivered online, in person, or through a partner organization.

We may change program content, dates, formats, presenters or delivery methods where necessary. If we cancel a program you have paid for, we will offer a transfer or a refund.

No guarantee of business results

Our programs are educational. We do not guarantee any particular business, financial or revenue outcome. Results depend on your own circumstances, decisions and execution. Nothing we provide is legal, accounting, tax, investment or financial advice, and you should consult a qualified professional for those matters.

Registration and payment

Registration is confirmed when we accept it and any required payment is received. Where a sponsor funds your seat, your place is subject to that sponsor confirming your participation. Prices are in US dollars unless stated otherwise.

Cancellations and refunds

Cancellation and refund terms for a paid program are set out at the point of registration for that program. Where no terms are stated, contact us and we will deal with your request reasonably.

Your conduct in our programs

Our sessions involve open discussion between business owners. You agree to participate respectfully and to treat confidential information shared by other participants as confidential. We may remove anyone from a session or program for disruptive, abusive or unlawful behavior.

Our content and intellectual property

The BizFlixTalk name, the Business Expansion Blueprint, our frameworks, worksheets, assessments, presentations and site content belong to Improve Your Business Game or its licensors. You may use materials we give you for your own business. You may not resell, republish, or deliver our programs or materials to others without our written permission.

Third-party works we discuss

Our sessions examine films, television programs, documentaries and real business stories for the purpose of commentary, criticism and education. All such works, titles, characters and trademarks remain the property of their respective owners. BizFlixTalk is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any studio, production company or rights holder we discuss.

Your content

Anything you submit through our forms or share in a session remains yours. You grant us permission to use it as needed to deliver the program and respond to you.

Links to other sites

This site links to third-party sites, including the BizFlixTalk Community platform. We are not responsible for their content or practices, and their own terms apply.

Availability

We aim to keep this site available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend or withdraw the site or any part of it without notice.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from your use of this site or participation in a program is limited to the amount you paid us for that program. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits or lost business opportunity.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, and the courts of California will have jurisdiction over any dispute.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they were last revised. Continued use of the site means you accept the current version.
